Ipod help

Ok i have a ipod mini, but it seems to have frozen up, and most of my friends say that i cannot get it repaired. is that true, plus my warrenty ended, what can i do anyone got any suggestions that can help me out? thanks.
 
You need to reset it like Mike said.

Hold down the centre button and the menu. I think thats it...

Does the screen display the apple symbol???
 
if you dont know this already ipod mini SUCK. Everyone one i know who has one has had to had theirs replaced more than once. One guy i know had to replace his 4 times in one month. They were designed faulty or summin but they're not good.

If like most people you try holding down the center button and the menu button and it still doesn't work your ipod is ****ED. You can bring it to a repair center to get the harddrive repaird but thats kinda csotly
 
......... this suxs, waste of money, lol well ty for all the help guys. lol thats why im sticking with samsung MP3 lol, much more better than ipod lol
 
OMG! have to let it charge, oh yeah, and i think this is how i broke it. lol. umm u know when u charge it from the comp, and on the ipod it says like, do not disconnect, well i did, cause i needed to take it out, and i started hearing weird noises coming out of it, and not out of my ear phones, out of the ipod it self, like ticking, beeping, elctronical noises, if thats the cause for my stupidity, and misfourtion, than im screwed, but if not, anyone got anymore suggestions? lol
 
Thats weird. Your iPod can make ticking sounds when you scroll though....

I've disconnected my iPod milions of times because I just had too...it didn't effect it though.

I wouldn't recommend doing it but it didn't seem to have an effect on mine.
