I always see people at the gym with their ipod in the sauna. I did this once for the first time yesterday. I'm always worried that the humidity and heat will mess with it. Anyone else feel this way or feel that their ipod is indestructible?

Guy at the desk next to me has went through four of them while running. I guess they don't like sweat!
My first ipod lasted about 4 years and seemed to be unbreakable. I let my roommate use it and it was stolen during a party, but im sure the d-bag that took it is still using it.
I then got a nice, at the time, 80 gig video ipod that lasted a whole 6 months then just quit completely and got errors that there were no cure for (i tried every trick in the book). Luckily my bro gave me his old nano which is about 4 years old, so i at least still have that one going.

I can't count the number of times i've dropped my iphone. Into snow banks, skidding across parking lots because i forgot it on my lap when getting out of the car. Knocked the sim card loose a couple times. That's it though.
i've gone through about four in the last couple of years. now i just listen to music on my comp and play cd's in the car. i lost two shuffles & my nano, and broke then my itouch. it still works tho, i only use it to listen to tunes and stuff when trying to sleep.
