This one? According to the site I found It is fairly uncommon in the trade and likes brackish water between 73-81 degrees F and gets to at least 18" long in the wild

When you say brackish water, what water parameters are we looking at?

Daym! I can't see the pic. Telling me I'm not authorized ...

By the way, the tankmates for my "future" Irian Tiger will be am Australian Jardini and a B. juruense catfish.

hey DBG, nice to see you here.. i don't think you need to put the NGT in a brackish setup, mine has been in fresh water all his life and is doing fine and about 10" now.. but i'd be really worried about keeping it with jardini's as i've heard they do not tolerate tankmates well and with a fish that expensive, i would think twice putting them together :)

NGT are beautiful fish and they have very nice gold yellow body when they get settled.. choose one that's always showing a nice gold color and bold black stripes

Welcome Dyani! Ngt will do well in pure freshwater. I would keep a close eye on your jardini though .Ive kept a couple before and their mentality at larger sizes are
"Bite First ask questions later"

Yes, that seems to be the concern with my Jardini right now. He's quite living up to his reputation. Might have to replace my Jardini with maybe a Malaysian Gold...

Yeah pare ko, those jardinis are mean bastards. Just an FYI,,
i dont wanna hear that you lost your precious fish bec of a jar attack.

My jardini already battered my red-neck severum, but he seems peaceful with my juruense and 2 bichirs.
