$10? wow good find
yep, i bought 2 of them for $20 from a lady, one 14" and the other 12"
on the way home the big one went crazy and was trashing for about 30 second straight, when i got home and put them in my tank the small one had blood blisters every were on his body, from getting hit from the big one, they were fine the rest of the day. next day after work found the small one floating, the other fish in my tank pec his blood blisters and killed him, he got skined alive

put in some bloodworms. they love that. it wont seem likely that they're eating but they are. they just swim by the food while sucking it up really quickly so its kinda hard to see it eating.

Relax, he will eat eventually. My ID has gone without eating many times and for different lengths of time. They hate changes. My ID olny eats algae waffers. My little one likes shrimp pellets. Try feeding in the same corner every day. It will teach him that food appears there, and he may learn to hand feed. MIne did. After owning the same fish for over 16 years, I have learned a few things. He will eat in time.

thanks, i hope so
the thing is i have other fish that are super fast eating and on top of that every time is feeding time, because all the fish get super exited he gets scared and just hide and lays there untill everythig passes
but i guess you are right eventually he will get hungry enough that he will go up to the surface and start eating

Mine only eat after lights out, then they swim around the tank. Lights on they stay on one side.
