woosey?Mine above kicks butt!He is the boss and these are his tank mates.
spotted gars, tsn, tsn x rtc, fire eel,and silver arowana. This guy can eat 6 whole shrimp and still look for food.

Your lucky, my 2 run from everything. If my little 3" tin foils go near them they jet. During feeding time if a fish is near by they wont eat. These got to be the dumbest fish I have owned. I had 1 back in highschool and it had no problem getting its share of food.

When they were in the 55gallon I could stuff them full. In a 180gallon its like they are afraid of all the water. The sit on one half of the tank all day.

My ID is 16+ years old and is about 27 inches. He never ate live fish. I raised tadpoles with him, two years in a row. Gentle giant. He is currently in a 6x4x2 200 gallon pond. He eats algae tablets. I find they grow slowly at first. I can play tag with him and he eats from my hand. They are the most entertaining fish I have every owned. Just be prepared to go big tank wise, not depth wise. The deeper the tank/pond the hard to clean.

MINES DOES THE SAME THING, HE IS AFRAID OF HIS OWN SHADOW

Although I am very happy to report that mine has never been spooked and is always calm, relaxed and chillin', might have something to do with so much space for him to swim around.

This is the first time I've heard of an ID boss. Versus a TSN? What size is the TSN 4" :grinno:

Mine is I believe, about 25". Its on page 4 of my thread.

Sexual differences
Males are more slender than the females and have darker striping. Females have swollen round shape, soft and reddish vent abdomens, silver gray body color, and if slightly stripped, the mature female, which is ready to spawn, its yellow egg can be seen. Males have abdomens that are flat, smooth and not as big as female, vent is reddish color but not swollen. Matured male will show milt when stripped.
