I have a pair of 9" Iridescent sharks that have outgrown my 29 gal tank. I have had them for about 8 years. I would like to give them to someone near the Gaithersburg MD area that could provide them a good home.

Thanks

They are probably pretty stunted if you have had them in that small of a tank for 8 years and they are only 9".... maybe you have your id wrong????? I kinda hope you do.

They're very stuntable fish. I recently rescued one from a friend's tank that is almost 3 years old and is about 7". They're probably one of the most common fish in lfs - every one has a dozen of them in stock at all times - but they never ever tell you how big they get. It's a shame cuz they're awesome fish

Aww. If I had a big pond I would start rescuing them too. The big ones are pretty cool.

If the ID holds up, this may explain what the deal is with the iridescent sharks in question. Everyone concerned can take a read. There may be nothing to accuse the original poster of.
