(I know they are catfish by the way)

Does anybody keep Iridescent Sharks? I hear they grow hundreds of pounds, that is huge! Include any pics if possible.

there are a few different species that go by that common name. the largest being the gigas, which grows to 600+ pounds, but this is a very rare fish to come in contact with. more common ones grow to 4 feet max, and even a few that only touch 20" if i remember correctly

Many people keep Iridescent sharks, particualy 10 year old kids with 20G tanks. But in the real world, these fish need 2000G if they are to be comfy in thier adult life.
The Iridescent shark you're thinking about is the Mekong Iridecsnt Shark, these grow beyond 8 feet. I even doubt you could keep a standard iridescent shark for too long.

My dad asked the guy at Big Als.. He said Paroon shark can grow up to 3m.. so Im wondering who would buy these kind of monsters for $34.99 at Big Als (if they stick to the truth)
