Mine won't eat from it said:since day one, when they were 3-4 inches long, i've had my hands in the tank constantley. whether it was rearranging things or hand feeding my fire and tire track eels. they just get used to it. i can actually pet them. two of them rub on my hands kind of like a cat rubs on your legs. i know it's bad to do that to much because you wipe off their slime coat, but it's still very cool. when i get a decent digital recorder i'll post a vid during feeding. it's ridiculous how these fish act. my fire eel will even stick his head out of the water and make a smacking noise with his mouth during feeding.
i guess you just have to spend alot of time with them.
