I overheaard some people at my work, tlkaing about this topic, and one guy admitted to having released about a 14-16" arrowana into a local river....wtf.... sell it, trade it, eat it...something....can't imagine what that thing would do in the local eccosystem, assuming it survives

Ha what a bummer, we need to clap down on this kind of stuff, what happend to the fish? i take it they would survive?

I would imagine so considering they survive pretty well in ponds in the UK
