Just want to know what's the biggest youv'e seen? My lfs got a more than 18" irridiscent. He is in a 90g. And he can barely turn cuz his to big for the tank. And I asked him how much? He was selling it for $300+. Is this a good price?

thats way to much.. i got two 12" for free... they sell in the store as 2" babies for $3 and only take about two years to get to 18" so if ya want one save yourself the money and buy a baby
All my fish are big already. If i buy a baby, he might become a feeder.Specially for my temensis. Thanks for the info. I'll probably aks my friend to grow out 1 for me

The reasoning behind this price might actually be a smart lfs owner ? Not that the ninety is suitable.. But maybe to make sure that home it is going to is suitable... ??? Did you speak with the owner.. On top of that until the last year i have rarely seen anyone be able to keep these alive long enough to get this size
