Irridiscent shark

trash fish.

Hey, just because this species isn't one you prefer doesn't make it a "trash fish" species. I much prefer my 8 standard color and 8 albino irridescent sharks over the "imitate a rock" inactive bottom dwellers (even though I have several of those, too). Honestly, what's not to like about a catfish shoal that's as active as a school of danios but, MONSTER in size?
 
I agree with togue 33, i have only seen one big and it was about 2.5 feet in a 220 but the store told me its not often they get that big in a home aquarium.
 
I went to Thailand on vacation to visit some family. I got a chance to feed some wild ones. To say the least, they were huge, probably about 3 footers! As I was feeding them, I thought, "It would really suck to fall in right now during this feeding fenzy." I know they're not man eaters, but sharp spines and nibbles from fish that large would definately suck!
