IS $27 a good price for african arowana?

Feed him sally's frozen blood worms at first, they are the smallest and skinniest i could find. Mine is approaching a foot now and still all he eats is bloodworms. 27 dollars is good, I paid 50 for mine at the same size. They grow fast though, I bought mine mid-september. Expect 2 inches a month!
Grew all 4 from baby 3" with mixed flakes / pellets soaked in with bloodworms. Sold other two early on and now mine are both around 14" +/- .
If they have multiple lemme know if you are willing to ship have been looking for a smaller forever

Thanks, i have been looking for smaller ones forever. Its strange that people say there havent been many big ones. All the venders are bringing in the large ones.
Seems like all the ones 10" and above are from vendors and not private sellers. There was a influx of smaller ones 3 months ago I believe that came in from vendors/stores. Smaller Afros should still be available.
Below 8", afaros must have constant access to food until they begin building up a fat reserve. That's the main reason for using sponge filters. Food will collect on the surface of the sponge filter allowing the afaro to graze between feedings. Clean the sponge every other day to prevent spoiling food from clogging the surface of the filter.
