Would a "teacup" be fine in a 180 for life?
I mean, they get big tails, so they'd be better in a 3' wide tank right?
A 9' diameter would be sufficient for a teacup or motoro, correct?

Is that a no then?

teacup again is generic term for small baby ray..... no ray will live in a 180 for life.... 36" wide would be perfect for several species....

9' diameter would hold a couple motoro for life...

By teacup I meant reticulata, sorry.

Not for life, no. Reccomended tank sizes/footprints can be found on the ray profile sticky.

a retic would be fine in a minimum of 30" wide... same with hystrix and scobina....
