hey everyone,
just curious if anyone has ever tried to do a Kenyi only species tank before, or if anyone has any opinions on if this would even be possibe to do successfully becuase of the hostile nature of this species...I really want to give it a whirl in my 75 gallon tank. I'm thinking that if i only have 1 male, and end up with somewhere around 14 or 15 females (and A LOT of rockwork), i might end up being successful. I work at a fish store in my town so i get a great discount on the fish, and the Kenyi we sell come in two sizes (1.5 inch juvies, and 3 inch subadults). So since we sell lager ones, picking out who's male and whos females is pretty easy, as i've seccesfully vented most of the ones that come in at the larger 3 inch size. So what do you guys think? Is that enough females to keep 1 male at bay? Or is he going to systematically kill them all off
Let me know what you think, I really want to give this a shot
Thanks!
