So I got my 360 project starting, and I found and bought a 125 to convert into a wet/dry. Is this overkill? What pump do you think I should run? I want 8-10x turn over. Should I factor in the gallons in the wet/dry for turn over rate?

No. Depends on what your overflows can handle. Yes.

I have a 125 for my 450. I have seen people do a sump same size as the display tank. It's more water to heat and more space that's the only negatives but you do get allot of positives with the space avail and more water volume
