Is converting a 125 into a wet/dry too much?

OK cool, I'm going to look into them now. Any ideas on wet/dry configuration? I built a 55gal for my 230. Thinking of same basic design, but always looking for improvement. I'm definitely need to find a better system for the micron socks. Never built anything to hold them. Suggestions?

I've got one on my 225 after lots of research and finding it on sale. No complaints, has a LOT of flow. The other pump I was considering was a W. Lim.
