Maybe my two cents is unwarranted, as it seems like the topic has been done to death, but there’s one thing about FF that always gave me pause.
Usually, when you see somebody come out of the woodwork with a bunch of ideas about how “mainstream” belief is nonsense and give a bunch of advice that requires doing way less work, it’s a red flag for me. What’s the old adage? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is?
Set-it-and-forget-it fishkeeping always seemed a little bit like that for me.
