Is flash harmful to the fish?

I'd think if you did it every hour of every day and the fish never adjusted to it, yes. Otherwise, the occasional snap here and there can't be worse than the aquarium lights coming on.

yes it does when i was smaller i took a picture of a gold fish and then it died my mom was pretty mad at me lmao

A few years ago I was at one of the local show a lady came up to me and was yelling that I was blinding the fishes with my flash



I shoot all my fish pictures with the flash on the glass top facing down.
