My water changer officially has no stock parts left now. It has a quick connect to the shower neck and a 6 foot camco rv hose to lower the pump below tank level. I don't like leaving the water on the whole time. A water bed suction pump. This attaches to a 50 foot camco rv hose. That goes to a 3/4 fnpt ball valve and some barbs. The in tank portion is a Rena xp3 suction tube. I do not like disturbing the substrate as I have a carpet of crypts and they melt off if you gravel vac.
Is garden hose safe to use for water changes?
