is giving names to fish deadly??? sounds wierd but i keep finding fish that is considered bad luck to name them and I have had only 4 fish die and they are the ones that i gave names all other ones are healthy

I think it is deadly to give a fish a name right away. Whenever I have done that, in the past, the fish has had very short life span. Now I wait a few weeks to make sure the fish is going to make it and to study its personality. Then I will give it a name. For instance, my male Jack Dempsey is named Nick Diaz because he likes to fight.

Strange but I'm down to 3 tanks, one fish in each so names need to be given.

i named one of my fish and it was a cory cat almost 3 years ago and i still have him

I'm down to one fish with a name, its an albino rhino pleco named caesar.

I have a 2yr old suncatfish that needs a name, anny suggestions?

highly doubt it I gave my Gt and Jardini aro names and theyre still alive
