sponge filter is a good idea, you def. want to have a filter in the hospital tank, other wise hospital tank will be a killer tank.
 
yea, i checked to see if maybe the heater would do its job and jump up to 78 through the night but it only reached 73 so i guess i will have to get those 2 things
 
do you have a thermometer in the 10g? if the reading is off a thermometer then your heater is busted and need to get a new one
 
if its one of those stick on thermometers on the outside glass it could be throwing the temp off.
 
no it was one of the good digital ones. does not matter tho, i picked up a good adjustable one along with a sponge filter and if the parameters and temp are right when i get home from class i am going to throw him in there. i can see the other p's eyeing him all the time.
 
ever since i moved the injured piranha out of the tank the other 2 have been acting strange. i have a hallowed out head that i use for a cave for my pleco that they never went into before, now they wont come out even with food
