am i wrong??? im trying to help my turtle with skin (not shell) abrasions and all u can say
is, "and still, it persists??"

And you've made several posts without clearly explaining the problem.

1) WHERE EXACTLY ARE THESE ABRASIONS?
2) WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE?

I don't know how I can be anymore ****ing clear what is required of you before we can tell you what is wrong with your turtle.

Jesus man, are you 12?

While I agree with your posts about him not being clear, bounce up a page, at the bottom. He posted a couple pics to help us out. (Finally)

Ah, didn't see the pics.

Doesn't look too serious. Probably the result of unclean water. Maintain your water better and see if it doesn't clear up. If not then try Sulfabath and Rid Rot, it could be a fungus.

unclean water???? i do water changes every week

Most turtle issues are caused by care that isn't ideal, I don't make up the rules. Water changes are great, but how's your bio filtration? Do you check for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates?

Only once a week? Heck, I do a 25% water change on my 100 gallon turtle tub every other day. I use to do a 30-50% water change on my 40 gallon tub every other day.

i think you should follow Vicious_Fish... hehe...

since you told us that its okay and recovering from those unknown skin problem. well, you dont have to worry about it. instead revise your tank with proper filtration according to what type of species you're keeping. And also the fresh water can provide minerals to them that might serve as their medicine, im not saying clean due to filtration but FRESH! water.

:( sorry bad english. from ASIA(japan).

I would recommend that you do more then one a week. It doesn't really matter how good the filter is, you'll still have water chemistry issues that will need taken care of. You have to consider that in the wild they don't live in a 40 gallon pool of water with high ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, etc.... So how big is the tank and what type of filter do you have running.

I also have fish with my turtles so I have to put a little extra effort into the water changes hence I do them every other day.
