maybe he learne a new trick and is performing for you or he's just tried of swimmng the normal way (lol) but it could be nothing and it could be somethingim not sure what to say here but goodluck and i hope he make's it

What are you feeding him/her? Usually swim bladder issues are caused by poor quality pellets. I had a goldfish that did this but in my case it was MUCH worse to where he would end up totally on his head

I feed them Hikari Cichlid "Cichlid Staple"...
Hmmm doubt it is the food. Well hopefully it's just a display. Duckweed is pretty easy to come by if it is the other issue tho. Good luck

Thankyou where could i get Duckweed?
I got some from my lfs it was like $3 for a bag....plus I got loads of snails for free. You don't need a whole lot, with proper lighting and nutrients it would get from your fish it will or has the potential to reproduce like MAD. Apparently in some places it is considered just that a weed.
