My bonsai FH seems to be loosing his colors, he is dull and a little on the grey side, I moved him last night to a 10G hospital tank just in case. He seems to be less active since I placed him on the 10g, hes not eating much, but before he was placed there he would eat with no problems, his colors have gotten like that for a little over a week based on what my wife told me I was out of town for a while.

Any ideas on how i can bring his colors back ?

Thanks in advance.

Looking at your parameters it is suitable for flowerhorn. How old is the flowerhorn from picture 2 to picture 1?
Did you handle any sick fish recently? Might cross contaminated a fishing net.

He's a couple of months away from that older picture . I haven't had any sick fish at all , he's the only one that looks a little sick

What fish is in the background?

Fish often stop eating if they are moved tanks for a few days depending on their confidence.
Have you added new fish recently that could have brought something, how old is he? Give him some boiled shelled peas and add aquarium salt at two teaspoon per gallon before using meds IMO.
