is it better to have at least 3 pbass together grow up? or is it ok to just have 2? does this matter? i know certain fish need otheres around them to feel comforable an helps them survive.

I had 6 juvies in a 125. My Orino killed 4 of them over 2 weeks and now I just have a pair of Orinos. Just watch for one taking total control of the tank and separate if needed. I have heard more than once to get more than 2 to spread the aggression.
so getting at least 3 should help spread aggressiion?.. you had 6 an seemed like some aggression.. i cant decide if i want 2 or 3 errr
Go with 3. I have 2 right now and they fight all day. Darting at each other, puffing open their gills and whatnot.
yea i def want at least 2... but im leaning twoards 3 right now ... just hope they get along! what ever i do decide they will all be same species at least so either 2 or 3 will be at least same kind
I had 4 of em and ended up taking out the littlest 1 out of the 4 due to being picked on by the biggest one...its been 3 months scince then an the one whos by himself is doing very well.... mainly because he gets his food with no competion an the other 3 are doing just fine as well...but if it were me i would go for 3..the 3 i have are always together in the aquarium an stick together...
they willl be in a 200 gallon for most of the time untill they get over 20"
