is it best to have more then 1 pbass?

We have it both ways. We have two 24k kelberi peacocks together and they love each other and we have one brokopondo in a tank with some other similar fish and he's also doing fine. Our pbass do seem to like to be in the company of other fish so whether the other fish are bass or not, it's definitely a good idea to put some other swimmers in there with him, just make sure they're big enough to survive his giant mouth and voracious appetite! Also, I know of people who have kept groups of five and they more or less got along fine once they established a pecking order so to speak.
