It's velvet....

What led you to that conclusion?

Velvet is shown by a spread of soft looking reddish or orangish spots that run together, from the pics it does not appear to be velvet.
For ich treeat at least for ten days using the heat and salt method, less is only partly effective and will often result in reinfection.
The thinness is most likely a result of a long term protozoal infection such as hexamita, this is generally shown by white or clear, slimy feces and is best treated with metronidazole laced foods.
Parasite clear do not treat ich but does contain metronidazole although it is an external application and so less effective than the foods. It can treat hexamita but is not guaranteed to do so. The long term effect of an internal hexamita infection is a slow thinning and loss of disease resistance due to malnutrition.

I euthinised the male Thursday night. He couldn't swim properly. He was mostly laying on his side on the bottom. Didn't even try to escape the net.

I took some pics of the females, but they didn't come out much better than my previous pics. I'll try to post them tomorrow. One female had a long strand of white feces yesterday. Guppy I've seen some kind of medicated food at my LFS and at petsmart. I'll check to see if it has metronidazole. They seem to eat well, so I don't see why they wouldn't take it if it is in flake form or something similar.

I haven't noticed any problems with the danios, but because of their size and color it is hard to be sure.

I raised the temp as someone advised. As high as it will go is 88. I'm worried that if this doesn't go away soon the temp will stress the fish too much.

EDIT: looking online I think the food is Anti-Parasite Medicated Fish Food by Jungle. Seems to have metronidazole. Also has raziquantel and levamisole
