Ripleys Aquarium in Myrtle Beach got rid of their 5 or 6 Pacus because they were too skittish in their 1200 gallon freshwater aquarium...
Pacus are not territorial fish, they cruise long distances and when spooked the cruise very fast... right into the wall...
Some fish just shouldn't be kept in aquariums, even huge ones...
