Is it normal for Asian Arowana to stop eating?

you cook the shrimp before you feed it?
I've always fed raw.
It's eating aro sticks, the CLS in the same tank swim near its head while it rests or sits on the bottom, they spook the aro! it moves away.
Another strage thing is it rests or sits in the same place, after about a week or so there is a build up of its droppings which i've never seen before (there is no water flow where it rests, in between to pieces of bog eood.).
Other fish i've owend have pooed pelets with colour while the aro's droppings are whitish. That means its body extracts every bit of protein from what ever you feed it, thus the fast growth.

feed raw, cooking food takes away some of the nutrients

No
here in NZ, cooked shrimp is 10NZD per kilo
raw is triple that.
so i feed cooked, and i stuff with pellets.
so say i feed a whole prawn, i will put 3 to 4 massivore pellets per shrimp in average. depends.
to give the vits and extra protein.
they flash cook the shrimp and flash freeze it in the sea before shipping ot NZ.

O.O, our raw shrimp is alot cheaper than the cooked shrimp. raw goes for like $2 per pound and cooked for like $5.
