is it okay to keep oscars with Jar?

aite thanks for your update. i might get a different fish to be with my jar. if not then maybe i will just try to keep it alone and maybe introduce it to another jar as it gets older.

Just make sure you have a good hiding space for whatever kind of fish you decide to get, especially if it is a cichlid. I've had many types of cichlids with my Jar, they all got bullied and they hid 99% of the time. My Jar did not want any of the cichlids to come out to swim around, every time one would come out of it's hiding space the Jar would strike at it, sending the cichlid flying back into it's hiding spot.

ya, pretty much it's up to you. Probability is that the oscar will get bullied esp. if it's smaller than the jar, but it's possible that it'll work
