Hi i have like no decorations to hide under or in in my tank with three mollies to cycle cuz i havent put in my driftwood yet and i cant find my third molly... the only male and i was wondering if they could jump out of the tank... i cant find him anywhere but that doesnt mean anything... also he could have jumped a few tanks over jumping from one to the next lol. just wondering if theyve ever been known to do anything like this. thanks.

ANYTHING is possible! Probable is a different story!

thanks i found him under the only cover. a plastic cave covered with the sand, he got under it and i didnt think to look thanks tho

Anything can jump tank. Ive had a discus jump....

Actually, some species of fish will be instantly vaporized upon leaving the water.

any fish can jump

Yep like others have said, any fish can jump. I had a swordtail jump out on me and a golden algae eater too. It was me vs the cats when the fish jumped out...lol. I am glad you found your mollie. :)

So your saying that a certain species of fish will instantly turn to nothing the second it leaves the water?:screwy:

And just for the record, I have had mollies beach themselves on ornaments above the water, on top of hot filters, and I've had 2 jump out. 1 Survived.

lol and i had a ghost shrimp once literally climb up the glass and out of the tank. then i found what i thought was a bug but it was him lol.
