Is it possible to handfeed centipede??

Im planning to buy a vietnamese centipede soon...does anyone know whether it's possible to handfeed them?? I luv interacting with my pet by handfeeding them... is it possible to do the same with centipede?

There was a single fatality reported from someone being bitten by one, too. Just though that you might like to know.

Also, I hope that you don't have any venom allergies (bees, wasps, snakes, etc.); a bite might turn out to be even worse in that case.
 
I would advise against it. I also think it is a bada$$ idea.
 
they have a pretty aggressive feeding response where they lunge, grab and hold on tightly to what they're trying to eat.

i can almost guarantee that you're going to get bit, and when you get bit, you'll probably kill your bug trying to get it off.

try it with tongs first.
 
ill prob do it with tongs for the first few month... after it gets used to me, Ill prob start handling it more and more until i can achieve my goal.
