Is it possible to set the heaters up this way?

I was looking at the Finnex heaters:

And they can be used with a controller. From the pictures looks like I could just run a extension cord between the controller and heaters to extend the length to what I need. What do you think?

Your ok extending power just use a heavy enough cord as these things take about 4 amps each, BUT never cut and splice a sensor wire without checking with the manufacturer first as they may calculate the resistance of the wire into the sensors spec.s.

Will do. I wasn't planning on cutting the sensor since it will be in the tank and the controller unit will be right there also.
