Is it possible to sink freezedried foods?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i'll try that.
hot water right? can i just sprinkle it on top of the hot water? and nothing to press it down or anything?

...... def. use hot water, add whatever amount of bloodworms, stir them around for a while. yes, you do want to submerge them to get them waterlogged. leave them in the cup for 5 minutes and stir occasionally, reversing direction and pushing blood worms down with a spoon, or if your like me, use a rambo knife.

Rambo knife?..... sort of like a redneck food processor?

you can get FD bloodworms to sink... get a cup, fill it with hot water (not too hot as to burn) and stir in bloodworms, frozen foods, medications, or whatever else needs to be mixed in. I mix in frozen brine and freezedried bloodworms, stir for a minute or 2 and feed to my mothers live bearer fish, they love it

This method has worked well for me. Unfortunately I have the bad habit of seriously overfeeding with this, so I only try it once a week and on the day before I plan on doing a waterchange / gravel syphon.

How do you know if you're over feeding?
Since I read that fish don't stop eating when they spot food..

this isnt a legendary proverb, nor was it written by confuscious, but a wise saying in the aquarium world goes: "Whatever amount you are going to feed your fish, feed half of that-"
besides, you can always add more if you have to
