hi, yesterday my 125 started to leak from the seams.I am going to try to reseal it today, but i was wondering since my fish are in a plastic tub can i use a heater in it or no?

I have with no issues, as long as it stays submerged.

I've always put a small piece of glass under the hot part of the heater when using them in plastic tubs as they can get incredibly hot. Last thing you want is the heater melting a hole in the plastic!

ok I have had the fish in the tub for the past couple days. I resealed my 125 on wednesday afternoon. I was wondering if its okay to put water in now?i live in socal so its pretty hot.and should I fill the water up to the top of only like 10 gallons?thanks

Should be safe silicone take about 48 hours to full dry out

alright thanks doomiedee and poppalina.i filled the tank up.hopefully it doesnt explode. I was also wondering if the old silicone i took out it safe for the fish because I still see a few of the old silicone on the bottom I didnt take out yet?thanks
