is it true that smaller tank= better for breeding?

I dunno, i have the impression that sometimes when they r closer together , they might have a higher chance . Right now i have a 8x 3w x 2h 360gal for a 14" pair and it aint happening. I've seen people using 125 and even as small as 60 that have success in breeding. so... whats ur opinion

i have no experience with breeding,but ive always seen pairs being formed in larger tanks and then being moved to smaller tanks for breeding.

give the he bass some pointers, a box of goldfish, and a water lily and she will be all over him like white on rice oh yeah and play lets get it on for them during the night hours
the next day wahla all the eggs you want

when moved to smaller tanks it can help with breeding..
maybe try adding blackwater extract as ive heard from a buddy it may work
