My lfs has this jar that looks wonderful that someone brought it. Its about 7in or so and is very dark will a chill attitude and swims elegantly(spell check that) but the one thing wrong with it is that it seems to be blind in both eyes, I think. And their going to sell him to me for $25. The thing thats getting to me is that I dont want to get it and have him get hurt or have him die from not eatting. They told me he does eat if I put feeders along with him and he'll eventualy will find them and if not that hand feed it with thongs.

What do you guys think??

Even though it is blind, it still can smell and plus hand feeding fish is fun :D
Feeders are not recommended.
$25 for a 7in jar sounds nice

Its a good deal but I personally wouldnt want to deal with a blind Jar. spend an extra 25 bucks and get one that can see!

Well it doesnt really matter but I would like to know other people opinnion.

But has anyone delt with a blind fish before??

Personally, I wouldn't do it. It would take a lot of work for you to feed it and the chances of it freaking out are higher since it can't see. (Freaking out = more possible injury, you see where I'm going with this?) Just shell out a few extra bucks and get one that can see.

true. If i really liked the fish at first sight, I would get it no matter how bad condition he is in and nurse it back to health.
