FYI--this is the third time in 8 months that petco has offered the 1 dollar per gallon sale, so I am sure that it will not be the last.
I will say that I am VERY pleased with the quality of the two 40 gallon tanks.
Considering that the regular price was around 100.00
and if they dont have the tank on the floor you can order it, I think the sale is only on standard tanks, (not bow front) I could be wrong.

I would invest in a T-5 over the tank light fixture, They deliver light with lower heat transfer and they are built for the hobby.
The hobby has advanced over the 28 years-you no longer have to "rig" your light fixture, they run about 30n ./' (percent key don't work:{) more
but they look great and they last.
also you might try ebay-listing withen xxx miles-I would think alot of tanks would be for sale in my home state. Grew up -Pleastent Ridge.
One last word of advise-used equipment is just that USED---when buying a used tank keep in mind that all that included equipment may be at the end of it's service life and the parts/shipping....just saying-Happy Hunting.
