My fav LFS has a zebra pleco for $200.00 it is about 5" or so. I have never seen one in a store before. Is this a good Price?
 
I am not that really into plecos but it is a beautiful fish. I was just curious about a 200 buck pleco.
 
Wow...I remeber when Zebras were going for $100 and I thought that was insane for such a little guy. Now it's $200?! :WHOA: I knew they disappeared just as quickly as they showed up in the hobby and I guess they're back now, but harder to come by.
 
They must be because the store only got 1 in I have never seen them get only 1 of fish. I always show up on new fish day!:)
 
You paid about average price. Coupla years ago they were going for around $250-$300
Good to know that lots of peeps are breeding them. Hopefully they'll be averaging $30 bux a pop by 2010.
 
have you Positively ID'd it :) I would nabb ten 5" ers at that price :D

Being that they only grow to a max of 3.5", I'm guessing you mean 3.5". I know breeders that have had them for 5+ years without them attaining 4". $200 is a great price for a full grown adult. Often I have seen the 3" adults selling for over $400.
