is it wrong that i raise fish and yet i eat fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
We eat lots of fish in my house, we smoke it, fry it, and bake it, yummmy! However, out of respect for my pet fish, we shut the lights out, and put a cloth over their tank, so they don't see us eating their cousins. Wouldn't want them to get stressed and come down with Bloat!

you are mammals and yet mammals make up a large portion of your diet...
So long as you are not eating that species or a close relative, your fish could care less...
What do you think flake is made of?

Arguably, I don't eat fish, but that's because we are running out of these species in the wild, not because I dislike shocking my fishy friends.

I can only eat animal parts that come in plastic wrap, so I can delude myself into thinking it came from the big styrofoam machine in the sky. The last time I went fishing I got really upset when it came time to "process". I'm now strictly a catch-and-release girl.

i see nothing wrong with it. i own fish, am a fisherman, am not a big fan of fish but i love sushi theres nothing better than raw salmon, spicy tuna and octapus.

there is a restaurant here that makes a sun dried tomato crusted grouper, served over garlic mash potatoes, and a bed of butter sauteed spinach. covered with a lump crab meat and capers sauce.

its out of this world.

i love sushi too.

could never eat my fishes though.

edible fish and fish that can be eaten as food are not as adorable as to those fish that should be kept as pets...though they both fish but they have two completely diffrent purposes...at least thats my take on this topic.haha!
