So after reading a lot of threads about internal parasites and others that affect the gill area there is a lot of somewhat confusing information out there.

Is Jungle Parasite clear a safe medication to use with stingrays?

I contacted the company and they assured me it is perfectly safe to use but any snails and crustaceans could be harmed.

Here is the ingredients from Jungle Labs site:

Active ingredients: praziquantel; N-[[(N-Chlorophenyl)amino]carbon 1]-2,6-difluorobenzamide; metronidazole; acriflavine.

Praziquantel is what is in Prazi Pro which I know to be ray safe, the rest of the ingredients I dont know. Perhaps someone else will know about the other ingredients.

Did the first treatment today. Although the stingrays show no signs of parasites some of the guppies that inhabit the system(source of continual live food) could be infected. Treated the entire system to keep any parasites from spreading.

Day 1 is complete and so far all the rays (7 total) are behaving normally.
The other fish:
1.Discus- somewhat listless and a slight lack of feeding response.
2.Gar- No interest in food but other behavior is normal
3.Tetras and Guppies- no change in behavior or feeding response.
4.Black ghost knife- no change.
5. Snails- was warned to remove them but they are fine.
