The red will change the color of the plecos eating it. I have a severely mauled bushynose and the parts of him that grew back are the same color. Almost his entire right pectoral fin. Pretty neat.
Is manzanita covered in lichen fish safe?

My flagtail seems to love the white stuff, been going around sucking on the wood all day (that doesn't sound right)

Made a huge mess but the flagtail cleaned up almost all of the white stuff. Been moving things around, pretty happy with this orientation. All pieces are connected so they don't move and cut edges are in the sand or against a panel. Turned out the bottom branch in op was just rotted at the end, cut a few inches up and it was solid inside. Achara cat claimed it as his lair lol
