is my arrow big enough?

I don't think it matters how small the other fish you have in the tank are. The sexy sway of a silver arrowana's tail is lure enough to entice a fish to explore it's tail with it's mouth. They may not be picking on him, just interested. This happened to my male lyretail anthias when I first introduced him to my 75 gallon reef tank. He was plenty big enough to hold his own, but the small fish took quite an interest in his large dorsal fin.

Ya bro u need to beef him up sum! ill tell ya this much i have an 14 inch arow and hes badass he eats like 5 of them green tree from a week!

Maybe u should try taking out the all the other fish in the tank with him and see if his fins get better.

i took the silver dollars out and put them in the 150. i was remembering the first couple of weeks that i had the arrow he used to hang out on the intake to the canister filter. i mean actually suction to the side of it untill he did not want to be there any more then he would just break free and swim away. i have not caught him doing this again but i wonder if when he sleeps he suctions to the intake. it would make sense because i watch the tank quite a bit and never notice a single nip or chase

Dats just not right. Poor Aro. I'm sorry to say, but dat Aro seems to be having more problems than a fin problem!!! He kinda looks out of proportion. Thea area behind his gills looks a bit wierd.

Seperate him from the rest!! You can tell someone has been picking on him!! Im blaming the dempsy!! hehe!!

Seperate him if it's only his fins they will be back to normal in no time!!
