Hey guys i have a 55 which has a jd cichlid 3 tinfoil barbs 2 silver dollars an eruptus and a suncat. I was moving another tank into my basement when i decided that the silver dollars and the eruptus would go better in there so it was down to the barbs my cat and my cichlid. I didn't expect a problem so after about 3 days of it being the 5 of them (really 4 because my cat almost never comes out of his cave) i figured there was no agression problems at all so i went on my vacation i had scheduled. The only weird thing was when i got back my 2 of the barbs had their anal fin damage and one of the barbs anal fins. One of the ones with a damaged anal fin was missing a scale on his side. I really didn't take any notice until it became red and the scales around it became red where they overlap so is this because the wound is infected and if so what should i do to keep him alive or could it just be a color change or a breeding color?
