he’s still a bit small to worry as long as he’s eating just keep an eye on its behavior and water parameters

Update: he just needed some time to adjust and now comes up for food and has a fat belly. Don’t worry, I removed all of that food after he was finished.
Yeah your totally right, but i just got him and am trying about a dozen different frozen foods to see which one he likes the most to beef him up in size and to make it easier I keep it barebottom so I can easily scoop out all the foods that he didnt try, he’s definitely gonna get sand like all my other tanks though
