dale76... yeah that is weird that the severums were kickin' the festae's tail but now the festae is harrassing the carpintis! hahaah! i think probably the other festae in the tank were attacking each other personally.

i'd say male but too small to be 100% as already mentioned.

I'm also going to say female. I've had festea that look exactly the same at this size. The spangling will more than likely disappear as the fish gets bigger. But you can't be 100% positive. Good luck and keep us posted!
CubanD the second pic in the upper left is a lyonsi juvie... the dorsal fin of the bottom part of the pic i'm not sure which fish that was.
