Is my fish holding?

I noticed that My rusty has got its throat puffed out. Is it holding. I just took it out of the 46 gallon grow out and put it in the 240 about 3 days ago and I noticed that it had it throat puffed out today. its is a bout 3 inches long. who could it have breed with if it is.

So who is the dad?
 
My guess would be one of the pseudotropheus, the zebras in particular. the African cichlid hobby is plagued by hybrid pseudotropheus. Do you plan on keeping the fry?
 
Idk. I don't know I hav thought about it but I don't know how I'm going to get him out of the tank. And I'll have to rig up on of the 10 gallons I have in that garage.
 
I would destroy the fry, strip her or feed them out, and change stock to prevent further hybridization. That's all personal preference of course.
 
What do u mean by strip. I kinda wanted to keep one to see what they would look like.
