Is my fish holding?

Well if I just let nature take it's course they would def get eatin in the 240

..why is every one so dead set agents hybrids...geez just kill a bunch of fry because they are mixed?..that just seems a bit cruel to me..

anyway....its your fish..yes it looks like its holding!
keep them and grow them out if you want ! ^_^ ..if you let nature take its course you might end up with a few still! or..not you'll just have to see lol thats part of the fun.

Some fish keepers value pure strains and do not favor the mutts that are farmed for sale in pet shops. By the way, do you eat meat? Cattle suffer a worse fate than tossed eggs do.

With a net or 2. LOL
If you just noticed her holding and you want to keep the fry, wait 2 weeks and put her in her own tank or strip her and put the eggs in a tumbler to hatch them and save them. There are videos on Youtube to show you how to strip. You can find the tumblers on aquabid if your interested.

Not necessarily, though chasing her around the tank may cause her to swallow the eggs from stress.

Update I Finally caught her and set up a 10 gallon under the 240. She looks stressed but still looks to be holding.
