Is my list overstocked in a 100g?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Uh, I wish there was a Litre - gallon converter that was actually correct... Every different one I go on shows some different number :( I'll try get a picture on Wednesday since I'll be uploading some pics of it during the process of building it up and finishing it. Does anyone want to see it when I've got it?

use the calc on this site, if you put in 234 gallons it comes out to 885 liters

or do the math yourself, 1 gallon is equal to 3.78 liters

and in regards to your question I would not call that overstocked for a tank of that size. Oscars top out anywhere between 12 and 16 in or so

Alright man, It doesn't really matter that much since we all know now that my stock would defiantly be able to be housed in a tank that size?

Those fish would be fine in that tank just make sure you have some good filtration and plenty of aereation. Nice size tank in itself. I like the width of it.

i think you could add a few smaller growing, medium aggressive cichlids also.i would stick to SA.maybe severum, acaras, etc.i would make sure in a tank that size that you add a pump or 2 for enough water movement

Sorry, My bad, It's actually 60x18x18 Is that still big enough?

that comes out to 84 us gallons OR 318 liters. i think the suggestion is 75 gallons per Oscar, so...

But they said that the tank was 450L's? And 18 inches isn't far from 30 and when I said 30 inches people said 'That's FAR from 100g's'?

when you go from 60x30x30 to 60x18x18 there is a huge difference in water volume, and they must have lied to you
