you may want to introduce them when they are young (since they have a similar temperament to these)

I have had no probs with putting 2 adults in with each other, I have put 2 new fish in a tank at the same time from diff places/tanks, I have also added Jags into a tank where other Jags have been for over 6months, I added a 7inch male into the 13inch Xanthics tank and also 2 females at diff times, both females was around the 9inch mark, also with other BIG Jags I have done male + male & male + female mixes all have been smooth, but I have never done a female-female mix/intro ;)

+ them little Dovii do look very good!

I try to pass on what others have said ...

I did some research on my Dovii and learned they are similar Managuense.

I was advised to introduce the Dovii to a tank at the same time because they are very territorial and vicious to each other.

I am far from knowing enough ... all I know is that I want wolf babies :screwy:
(not sure what I will do with them when I get 'em ... :WHOA: )

And by commenting to topics like this help me understand a little more about the species mentality in general

like people will say "each fish is different" but I do find that Jag aggression is a bit exaggerated, Jags do mix well with other big fish, Jags and Oscars go well with each other, not sure you would find a Dovii letting a Oscar be in "HIS" tank or any other fish come to that! well not in a normal sized tank lol
